💡 Strategy Tips: Maximize Your Points

  • Captain Choice: Your captain earns 2x points. Choose a player with high scoring potential in favorable matchups.
  • Form Over Reputation: Select players in good form rather than relying solely on big names.
  • Fixture Analysis: Study upcoming opponents. Teams facing weaker defenses often produce more attacking returns.
  • Clean Sheet Potential: Defenders and goalkeepers from teams with strong defensive records offer consistent points.
  • Budget Balance: Don't spend all your budget on forwards. Midfielders who score earn more points than forwards.
  • Differential Picks: Include 1-2 lower-owned players who could deliver big performances to gain an edge.
  • Monitor Team News: Check lineups before deadline. Starting players earn significantly more than substitutes.
  • Avoid Cards: Players with disciplinary issues can cost you valuable points with yellow/red cards.

📈 Building a Balanced Lineup

A successful fantasy lineup requires balance across all positions:

  • Goalkeepers: Look for teams with favorable fixtures and strong defensive records.
  • Defenders: Prioritize those who offer attacking threat (set pieces, overlapping runs) alongside clean sheet potential.
  • Midfielders: The most valuable position. Goals from midfielders earn +8 points, making attacking mids essential.
  • Forwards: Select consistent scorers playing against weaker defenses. Consider their recent form and shot volume.

Pro Tip: In contests with lower entry counts, safe picks work well. In larger contests, take calculated risks with differential players to stand out from the crowd.
